Whether you describe your plans as a same-sex, gay, lesbian or queer wedding, the starting point is the same: a team that respects you and understands your celebration. Our guide also welcomes trans and non-binary couples.
Discuss names, pronouns, introductions, family dynamics and the traditions you want to keep or leave behind. Ask suppliers how they make their process inclusive, rather than relying on a badge or a photograph.

A church ceremony may be an option
Margaret River Uniting Church explicitly describes itself as fully affirming and welcomes all couples wishing to marry. Contact the church about preparation and availability. Other churches have their own policies; do not assume they are identical.
