Separate venue hire, ceremony, dining, drinks, staff, furniture, production, accommodation, transport, photography, film and celebrant costs. Add any travel, overtime, tax and removal charges that apply.
A meaningful deal has a real supplier, date range, guest allowance, inclusions and exclusions. We do not claim negotiated discounts or regional average prices.
Published examples to check
At the research date, Photogerson published eight-hour photography at A$4,900. Freedom Garvey listed five-hour coverage beginning at A$3,995. These packages are not directly equivalent.
Film supplier Little Sister Films published investment from A$4,400. Current availability, inclusions and final quotes must come from the supplier.
The Xanadu wedding page advertises selected-date packages. Ask for the included guest count and full terms before comparing the headline with another venue.
Questions that reveal the gaps
- How many guests and which spaces does the quote cover?
- Are setup, staff, pack-down, equipment and rubbish removal included?
- Does food pricing include service, crockery, glassware and bar staff?
- What changes if guest numbers, the date or the weather plan change?
- Which deposits are due, and what are the cancellation and postponement terms?
Choose where to spend
Put the things you care about first: the food, the photographs, time with guests or a particular setting. Ask suppliers to explain alternatives before cutting a service that makes the whole day work.
Track confirmed quotes and payment dates in your own budget. Keep a contingency that fits your plans rather than treating an illustrative package as a final total.
